What kind of bicycles do you sell?
We sell refurbished bicycles of all types! The bicycles are donated by the community, then completely rebuilt by volunteers. The process of building each bike takes 3-7 days. After that, they are available for sale to the public.
How much does a bicycle cost?Most bicycles are between $30 and $300. This fee keeps the doors open as well as funding our other programs. You get a reliable bike, the bike gets a good home, and we get to continue our mission!
How do I buy one?Stop by from 10AM-6PM Tuesday-Saturday to see bikes that are ready for new homes. The selection is always changing! You can also sign up for our Adopt-a-Bike email list if you're in the market -- we can't hold them for you, but you'll be the first to know when new bikes go on the floor.
What if you don't have a bike that fits my needs?
We can't predict what size or type of bicycle we'll have at any given moment. With a little patience, especially if you follow the Adopt-a-Bike list, something's bound to turn up. But if you currently have a bike that just has some problems, or see a bike that suits you at a garage sale or thrift store, we encourage you to bring it to Community Tools to work on yourself!
