What is Community Tools?

It's a place where you can learn to fix your own bicycle, even if you've never picked up a wrench before. It is staffed by volunteer mechanics. Our facilities can currently accomodate 3 people at a time, on a first-come first-serve basis.

What are the hours of operations for Community Tools?

Community Tools operates Thursday - Saturday, 2:00pm - 5:00pm

How much does it cost?

$5 per hour, which includes use of the tools, instruction, and supplies such as grease and solvents. All proceeds directly support and expand Community Tools. A fee waiver is available for those unable to pay.

What if my bike needs new parts?

Not to worry -- most used parts are only $5. We also stock affordable new cables, housing, brake pads, tubes, tires, and other parts and accessories. 100% of proceeds from these sales support Bike City -- it's your support that makes it possible! Thank you!
